Project description
This project involves the complete interior construction scope of a multi-story residential building located in Queens, NY. The work primarily focuses on interior wall framing, gypsum board installation, ceiling systems, and door installations across all floors. With a total building area of approximately 13,000 square feet, the project is designed to accommodate 10 residential units with modern construction standards.
The interior wall system is developed using a combination of light gauge metal studs (3-5/8″ and 5-5/8″) along with furring channels, tracks, and clips to ensure structural integrity and alignment. Extensive gypsum board application, including standard, impact-resistant, and moisture-resistant boards, is used to meet fire-rating, durability, and environmental requirements. Additionally, sound insulation materials such as SAB and spray insulation are incorporated to enhance acoustic performance between units.
The ceiling system consists of suspended gypsum board ceilings supported by furring channels and clips, ensuring uniformity throughout the building. The project also includes a wide range of door installations, from public access doors to apartment entry and interior doors, ensuring both functionality and compliance with residential standards.
