Project description
This project consists of a comprehensive interior renovation of the Janchar Residence located in Kansas City, MO. The scope includes complete demolition of existing interior elements such as flooring, walls, soffits, and fixtures, followed by a full-scale reconstruction tailored to modern residential standards. Special attention was given to salvaging and protecting key appliances like washer/dryer units and wine fridges during construction.
The structural scope primarily involves the installation of metal stud framing systems combined with gypsum board assemblies for both standard and moisture-resistant applications. Acoustic insulation and joint treatments were incorporated to enhance sound performance and durability. Custom wood veneer cabinetry, including base units, wall cabinets, pantry systems, and shelving, was a significant component of the interior upgrade, reflecting high-end residential detailing.
Finishes and MEP works play a major role in this project, including installation of hardwood flooring, porcelain tiles, ceiling systems, and wall finishes. Additionally, the project integrates premium appliances from brands like Bosch and Sub-Zero, along with modern plumbing fixtures and electrical systems. The inclusion of furniture, audio systems, and specialty items ensures a fully functional and turnkey residential environment.
